Very good sandwich and service

I stopped in today from out of state. The girl behind the desk recommended the turkey Rachel I believe it was called. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had-amazing! Highly recommend

First time at this establishment today. The food was delicious, great prices and the waitstaff was supurb. I plan on going back soon and on a regular basis.

Always great try their daily soups and quiches

This place makes great sandwiches with great bread and fresh ingredients, and they also have great service. My mother and I stopped there on our recent trip from Maine to NY State, and it was a pleasant departure from typical highway fast food.

Everyone was lovely and food was delicious. However the service was very slow and we had a long wait for our food.

Sandwiches are great. Their cheesy tomato soup is my favorite.

The Saucy Chicken sandwich...absolutely delicious! They put just the right amount of everything on it...leaves you sated. Highly recommend if you live here or just passing through like my wife and I.

Was having a nice lunch with my wife today. Waitress was attentive and nice. We received the check while my wife was finishing her meal. The place was slightly busy and four people came in. The owner rudely came up to our table, took the plate away from my wife and said "we need to put these two tables together" forcing us out. Absolutely terrible to treat your customer that way. We will not be coming back. You have lost our business.

Great little local deli, the sandwiches are excellent, and their cookies/desserts are too good to pass up. Great spot for lunch if you're passing through Bennington, or sticking around to explore some.

Delicious sandwiches, a must stop.

Food was delicious and plentiful, and very reasonably priced. Still the original owner that started the shop. Clearly he loves what he does and it shows in the taste and quality of his food. We will eat there next time we come through Vermont.

Amazing Deli! A must see in Bennington.

I would travel 2 hours again to get food here!! We got here 10 minutes after they closed and we were still able to order!! GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE!!

I am very picky when it comes to deli style sandwiches and hoagies/grinders. I have have had about 5 sandwiches from here and have been pretty unimpressed. The bread is one of the most important parts if not the most and thier bread is just so boring. Sandwiches here are around 10 to 12 dollars a piece and what you get is just too small. The best part is the meat seems to be pretty decent most of the time.

It's a delicious lunch place where the sandwiches are HUGE and the atmosphere is frendly.

Stumbled across this place on our way home from New Hampshire. What a great find! Our sandwiches were large and tasted great. The gal that waited on use was very friendly and enjoyed chatting with her. Looking for a great place for a great sandwich stop here.

Definitely a must if in the area. While a little pricey by small town standards the overstuffed sandwiches were incredible. The homemade soups were very satisfying as well. The staff was quite quick and courteous. It was a very pleasant diversion from your typical lunch fast food offerings, which in Bennington are limited as well. Thankfully we stopped here and will be returning again soon.

We visited this deli last August, and it was absolute delish!

Called on phone. Girl that answered very unfriendly and seemed like she did not want to take my order. Food overpriced. Never again.

Always good food and good company. The owner is always around and he'll even chat it up with you if he's not too busy running food to a catered event.

Deeelish! Our first visit was in the winter. We finally had the chance to come back after all that time - too long! First off the menu is impressive with such great combinations of sandwiches, wraps and salads. This time around my husband stuck with the same sandwich he got last time - The Bennington Bulge - corned beef, pastrami, and salami with L&T and russian dressing, he got it in rye. I decided to get the Spring Chicken - marinated chicken on baby spinach with cherry tomatoes, red onion, dried cranberries, cucumbers and shredded VT cheese, pepper-parmesan dressing on the side (super yum). I also ordered a slice of sunflower toast on the side. This place DOES NOT disappoint. From the moment you walk in, it's truly friendly and smart service. Quaint, cozy, and clean atmosphere - love the decor in the wall. Food comes out quick, fresh. I'd be here for lunch everyday if I lived here full time. Needless to say we will be back to continue working our way through the menu.
